David William Klak (he/they) is a New York City based actor, singer, and dancer.
Originally hailing from Mount Pleasant, MI, he spent his entire childhood surrounded by the performing arts; whether it be the dance studio, choir room, or auditorium, David was there. In 2021, Klak earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre with a minor in Dance from Central Michigan University, where he accumulated a wide variety of experience in musicals, plays, concerts, dance showcases, and operas.
David is very passionate about widening the horizons of how people look at theatre. He hopes for a world where everyone can adequately see themselves onstage, whether they be queer, neurodivergent, plus sized, POC, and more. David believes that theatre has the power to really open people’s minds and perspectives, and that it’s an artist’s responsibility to facilitate said power.
